You might be wondering if I would be a fit for you and your concerns. In my practice, I work with children, families, and adults. I welcome individuals from a variety of backgrounds with a diversity of concerns. I have worked with individuals with chronic mood conditions, just as mood disorders, as well as individuals with life transition issues, such as adjustment after the end of a relationship or loss. I also work with parents and children when the child is experiencing difficulties, such as behavioral concerns, mood difficulties, anxiety, or grief.
My clinical style is best described as integrative, borrowing from several theoretical perspectives. I strive to be collaborative in my approach. I work together with my clients to find creative strategies that are a fit for their strengths, values, and personalities. My goal is to help you become your best self no matter what your life circumstances.
Although I see clients from a variety of backgrounds with a diversity of concerns, I have two areas of specialization. First, I have extensive experience working with grief issues in children and adults. I feel honored to companion the bereaved during one of the most difficult experiences in life. I also have a specialization in women's issues, such as self-esteem, identity, depression, anxiety, anger, relationships, and history of abuse.
